Sample Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival & Welcome to Sweden
- Arrive into Kiruna Airport and transfer to your hotel for the evening.
- Welcome dinner and orientation session.
Day 2 - Sustainability, Eco-Design, Technology & Environment
- After breakfast, explore KLAB Iron Mine (Europe’s largest iron ore mining facility with visitor centre 540m below ground).
- Have a traditional Sámi lunch and visit Sami Siida museum.
- Meet and feed the reindeer at the corral.
- Guided tour of ICEHOTEL
Day 3 - Adventure, Teamwork & Nature
- After breakfast, transfer by a snowmobile sleigh to give ice fishing a go by drilling holes into the iced over River Torne.
- After lunch, enjoy some free time for snow activities before dinner. Opportunity for Northern Lights viewing in the evening.
Day 4 - Survival Skills
- After breakfast, attend an igloo and snow shelter workshop before giving it a go yourselves. The afternoon is spent snowshoeing through the forest looking for animal tracks and learning about the Arctic flora.
Day 5 - Adventure & Team Work
- Enjoy a peaceful ride through the forest this morning on a sleigh pulled by the huskies, stop for a soup lunch before finalising your igloos. Try tobogganing at the resort this afternoon before having your final Swedish meal.
Day 6 - Departure & Goodbye to Sweden
- After breakfast, transfer back to Kiruna for your onward journey.
